Information sheet : Eating local and seasonal food
Resource: PDF

These information sheets for teachers and pupils give an overview of the increase in world trade of food and our increased reliance on imported food. They summarise the environmental, social and economic impacts of such a global food trade.
They outline the benefits to a more local food supply as an alternative to our current food supply systems - a system that re-engages us with fresh, seasonal and organic food and how the Soil Association is supporting this transition.
