People activities

Activities encouraging pupils to think more closely about organic farming, healthy eating and food miles. Activities allow pupils to take closer look at issues behind food, packaging, food sourcing and the responsibilities of the farmer.

Activities include:

  • What's for lunch? Asks pupils to look at the food and packaging in their lunchbox, thinking about where it comes from and if it can be recycled.
  • The farmer's boots. Pupils imagine that they are farmers wanting to convert into organic farming and address the stages of convertion.
