Meanwood Valley Urban farm protects local flora and fauna, providing environmental education, training and leisure facilities. The farm grows vegetables, has sheep, pigs, cattle and poultry. It has a dedicated environmental centre to host school visits and the staff are CEVAS trained.
Environmental programmes have a hands on emphasis, options available are: life cycles, soils, composting, incubations and poultry, guided tour and farm visit and market garden activities.
