River Swale is based at Home Farm, Newby Wiske, where Peter and Joanne Richardson are the third generation to farm the site. Together with a group of local farmers they grow a variety of seasonal organic vegetables that are delivered direct to people's doors as part of a national box scheme. The farm welcomes farm visits and hosts talks to the public.
Farm walk, seasonal field work, some harvesting, visit the packing sheds to follow the route of the vegetables beforehome delivery. All visits are planned prior to visit.
