Stockbridge Technology Centre is a growing site based near Selby it offers young people and the public the opportunity to see how food crops are grown. The centre has 3 acres of glasshouses growing a wide range of crops mainly for research purposes as well as educational ones.
The centre offers hands on activities around growing, harvesting, conservation, habitats, soils, composting, salad crops and other seasonal vebetables. The centre is currently working with 'Yorkshire Food Discovery' Project looking at where our food comes from.
