Tick off Bronze, Silver and Gold for... Making the most of Roast Dinner Day

18 October 2011 – Thousands of schools took part in the Food for Life Partnership Roast Dinner Day! If you were one of those schools, you can tick off Bronze and Silver criteria. You might even like to use Roast Dinner Day as a template for more community events at you school, and tick off Gold! 

Community & Partnerships criteria

Bronze: We hold an annual event on a food theme for our pupils, parents and the wider community
Bronze: We share Food for Life Partnership learning with local schools, the wider community and other partners
Silver: Our pupils share Food for Life Partnership learning with local schools, the wider community and other partners.
Gold: We host regular visits about the Food for Life Partnership from other schools and stakeholders.

This ‘pass it on’ event toolkit has tips and advice for schools wanting to showcase their achievements to other schools and/or the wider community.

While this activity toolkit gives you ideas for passing on knowledge and skills to neighbouring schools.
