Involve your caterer
If your school meals are supplied by a private contractor or local authority caterer you will need to get the support of your caterer to achieve the food quality & provenance criteria.
Caterers are able to apply for a Food for Life Catering Mark at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels for menus that meet the criteria.

The 2007 Ofsted school meals survey confirmed that school meal take-up increases in schools involve pupils and parents in food education.
