Various venues across Hampshire, Various, Hampshire, Various
A number of events will be happening accross Hampshire in 2010... Please look online for more information: http://www.growingschools.org.uk/News/downloads/Countryside%20Day%20all%20days%20flyer%202010.pdf Hampshire Country Learning has been providing healthy, safe and well supported learning experiences for the last ten years. As a charitable organisationwe organise countryside education for key stage two children throughout the year. Each visit provides an oppourtunity for all pupils to explore, enjoy and learn about the countryside whilst delivering various core elements of the national curriculum. Support materials for teachers are available prior to the visit and allow for preparation and follow up work. A twilight teacher briefing session takes place before all countryside days as a pre-requisite to the visit and we strongly advise that teachers attend this in order to receive vital information and undertake their own risk assesment.
