About the farm

Blackmoor Estate is a family-run farm located near Selborne in Hampshire and is best known for its long experience of growing both traditional and new varieties of English apples, pears and plums. It is involved in every link of the production chain, from rootstock and fruit tree production to orchards, storage and grading of the fruit which is sold through the Estate farm shop, local businesses and to several major UK supermarkets. Schools and the community are invited to join in with the annual Apple Tasting Day each October which has been running for 40years. The farm belongs to the following farm assurance schemes: CMI, BRC, Red Tractor, Nature's Choice, Field to Fork.

There are two dairies on the Estate, one of which has been opened up for educational visits. We are CEVAS accredited, and educational visits include apple production, pack-house, dairy and woodland. We are happy to cater for particular needs, including special educational needs, if we have notice.
