Out to Lunch in Calderdale

Do you think children’s food in Calderdale is up to scratch? Do you know of a hidden gem of a local eatery? Are you prepared to go undercover as a secret diner? Read on…

Out to Lunch has spent the past four years surveying children’s food at some of the most popular restaurant chains in the UK. In the course of our investigations we’ve uncovered the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. We’ve worked with Harvester, Prezzo, Strada, and others, to improve millions of meal options offered to children. Now we need your help.

This summer, in parallel to our national survey, we will be investigating the food served to children across Calderdale. We’ll be asking whether local eateries are dishing up a healthy choice, fresh food you can trust, and family friendly service. We need you to nominate cafés and restaurants, including those at family attractions to be included in the survey, and to volunteer as an Out to Lunch food detective.

VOLUNTEER AS A FOOD DETECTIVE – we will select a team of 20 food detectives from the volunteer pool. If this includes you, then we will ask you to eat lunch in two local restaurants with your children – return our review form and we will pay for your children’s meals.

NOMINATE A RESTAURANT TO BE SURVEYED – we are looking for restaurants from across Calderdale.
