Roast Dinner Day 2015

On Wednesday 4 November 2015 schools across the country opened their doors to parents, grandparents and members of their local community, enjoying a freshly prepared, locally sourced roast dinner as part of the Food for Life’s sixth annual Roast Dinner Day.

Taking place during LACA’s National School Meals Week, the day formed part of a timetable of events celebrating the school food industry, and with the recent launch of the refreshed Food for Life School Awards Programme, there was no better time to recognise everything great about school food and food education.

Take a look at our Twitter feed and Facebook page  to find out what other schools got up to. There is still time to join in the conversation using #RoastDinnerDay.

If your school took part in Roast Dinner Day you may be eligible to enter one of our great competitions. Click on the link to the left of this page for more information.
