Do you want to bring different generations together through food?
Then why not host a Food for Life Get Together in your community? A Get Together can be any activity that brings different generations together through food.
It doesn’t need to be big or complex to organise. It might be a handful of people sitting down together and sharing something good to eat, or another community event you are already planning.
You can host a Get Together at any time throughout the year.
You can also link to established national food events and be part of something huge! Find out more about our national food events across the year and how you can get involved:
- Roast Dinner Day in autumn
- Grandparent Gardening Week in spring
- The Big Lunch in summer
These events bring generations and communities together to grow, share and cook food and have the potential to stimulate regular and sustained activity.
