Our impact
  • In South Warwickshire NHS FT the team have driven food waste down from 38% to 13% 
  • Since delivering our Reducing Food Waste support package, the team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust have launched a Malnutrition Prevention Project to reduce food waste and malnutrition levels and have introduced a new auditing system
  • In The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS FT there is raised awareness of the importance of reducing waste and a multi-disciplinary team will be taking forward a set of recommendations to reduce food waste and improve patient experience 
  • 98% of workshop participants reported a greater understanding of the impact, scale and causes of food waste
  • 97% of workshop participants reported greater confidence to work in ways to minimize food waste
