Roast Dinner Day 2017
We are delighted to announce that Roast Dinner Day 2017 will take place on Wednesday 15th November. We are hoping that this year's event will be bigger and better than ever, with schools and nurseries across the country opening their doors to parents, grandparents and members of their local community and enjoying a freshly prepared, locally sourced roast dinner together.
We will be marking the occasion with lots of great competitions to get involved in, with some fantastic prizes lined up. As per usual we will be sharing all of the action live our Twitter feed and Facebook page using #RoastDinnerDay.

For this year’s Roast Dinner Day 2017 we will be holding a competition with some fantastic prizes, giving schools and Early Years settings the chance to share all the exciting things they’ve learnt. Enter for your chance to win a Veg Trug, a mini tunnel from First Tunnels or some fantastic cooking equipment from Russums!
We would like you to design a poster all about ‘The Great Roast Dinner!’
Possible topics for your poster could be the history or origin of the roast dinner, where your roast ingredients have come from or how to cook the perfect roast. The subject is up to you, but we want you to get creative and demonstrate all the great things you have learnt about your food. Share your posters with us on the blog through your portal for a chance to win. You can share your photos on Twitter too, don’t forget to tag us using @SAfoodforlife and use #RoastDinnerDay.

- Schools and Early Years settings who submit their Roast Dinner Day blog by Wednesday 8th December will be considered eligible.
- This competition is exclusively open to Soil Association Food for Life schools and Early Years settings who have subscribed to our Membership or Awards package.
- Food for Life's decision is final.
- Food for Life reserves the right to use the winning school or Early Years setting in its future marketing communications.
