Tesco's farm to fork

The children visited our local Tesco store where Toni showed them where all the fruit and vegetable is delivered. There was lots and lots of carrots and brocoli!!!

They also had the oportunity to look inside the giant freezer where all the meat is stored before going onto the shelves.

    Hi
Several years ago a farm to fork representative came to my primary school and ran a workshop on designing a healthy sandwich as part of a topic I was teaching. How would I find out who my local representative is as I know that the lady who came in has moved away. We are in Redruth Cornwall.
    Kind regards
    Rebecca

Hello Christina, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately the Tesco Eat Happy scheme (Farm to Fork) is no longer running, and at the moment the Food for Life programme support schools and early years but not individual groups. Best of luck with your search for a visit to your rainbow group.
