During the February half-term, Phillimore Community Primary invited children and their parents to their 'Family Cooking Sessions'. The aim was to help encourage families to cook from scratch with fresh ingredients, to cook together and to think of healthier & cheaper alternatives to ready-made meals and takeaways.
In the sessions, children collected the ingredients they needed, prepped it and then cooked it, all with the guided help of their parents.
It was a huge success and the families went away with their creations to share at home - and away with a big smile on their faces!
