Green Kitchen Standard recognises caterers taking positive steps to reduce their energy, water and waste usage by providing an assessment framework and recommendations on how to improve performance. This assures customers that caterers are going a step further to minimise environmental impact.
Achieving Green Kitchen Standard aligns kitchen practices with energy, water and waste requirements of the Defra Plan for Public Procurement and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
